AFTER ACTION REPORT (AAR)

Welcome to the AAR-page of our weekly gaming group.

We are a group of 4 dedicated players (Bo our gratious host, Jan, Rasmus and me, Oskar) , playing every Tuesday night. We have done so for some years now, playing for some 4 hours at a time. We've all been playing for a great many years by now, mainly in the Wargame-department. In our current round we played Europe Engulfed, Adv. Third Reich, The Napoleonic Wars and several others. I guess its safe to say, we prefer the strategic and grand- strategic level of play. As we are 4 players, it can at times be hard to find the right games. We played some 2-players games with two on each side. We have a steadily growing collection of games, many of them dating back to the 80's.

EUROFRONT-II, from 1. february 2007 to (active).

The third attempt at Eurofront-2. Twice the Germans failed against France already, how will they fare this time? See my report of this game by clicking on the picture.

EUROFRONT-II, from 16. January 2007 to 23. January 2007.

This is the second game of Eurofront-2. Having learned a lot in regard to timmetable and special rules - especially in the early stages of the game - we decided to cancel our first game in november 1940. We remained in control of the same countries. See my report of this game by clicking on the picture.

EUROFRONT-II, from 2. january 2007 to 16. january 2007.

This is it! Finally we got the third box. In preparation for this we played Eastfront (which I have known for many years) and when the westfront arrived, we combined East and West for the 1943 scenario. After that the 1944 scenario. We learned a lot from those and now feel ready to try the big one - September 1939!
